Last September I came across this pattern and was intrigued. More than three months later, I finally found the time to start it. It was fun to pick the colours. The dark and light green hanks of Betsy Sock are leftovers from sweaters. Did I mention that I adore Betsy Sock?
The red-brown yarn is an unnamed Wollmeise Versuchskaninchen. It provides just the right amount of contrast. All four colours suit me well.

After starting with two 3.00 mm needles to work the smaller circumference, I’m currently using a 3.5 mm needle for the circular part. I am modifying the increase rounds by increasing one stitch every second row, not two stitches every forth row.

Garment was finished on Feb 12. Weight: almost 400 g. The reddish-brown Wollmeise and the yellow Posh yarn are almost used up, 20 g left of each. A bit less was needed of the two green yarns.
