The pattern name is just a play on words and has nothing to do with a specific stitch. Rather it’s a combination of multiple stitches to use as a sampler so my sister can choose a stitch pattern she likes from the choices I provide in these necklace cowls.
Knitted circularly, each pattern repeat is about 1.5” high.
Stitch patterns included:
-
Blackberry Stitch (aka Bramble or Trinity stitch)
- Diagonal Openwork

Stitch Patterns update
So, the Blackberry Stitch knits inside out no matter how many ways I altered it. Since that’s the case, I’ve decided to knit a few 18” x 1.5” circular swatches.

For an inexpensive yarn, this feels ok across the fingers while knitting and once knitted, the project feels really soft. Really good quality for the price.
I still prefer wool or cashmere or other specialty yarns

Well…
Blanket Moss stitch is an easy stitch, or at least it should be an easy stitch. It’s very slow going. I hope it’s pretty enough to be worth the extra effort.
Phew, ok, it was only the first two rows that were tough, probably because I didn’t knit a round after casting on. Still tedious, but it is really pretty.

The Ridged Feather Stitch is surprisingly easy.

I think I’m going to block each cowlet and stitch them together. All but two have 110 cast on stitches; so theoretically, it’ll be easy (right?). But I think shipping it will be better than pictures.
