Finding this yarn during the stash-diving to get another skein for the FIRST of these shawls, I knew it would make a great gift for one of the young nieces in my family… Bright and easy care. So I started on it immediately, lol.

9/10 Finished first skein of yarn. Going more slowly this time because of two days lost to migraine. Still very much enjoying the ease of the pattern. But not the yarn as much as the first one. Eight scallops per side after skein one. Not sure how big to make this one, but I do have two skeins left and nothing planned for them.

9/20 Wanted to finish the stitching on this yesterday, but I guess that was a little aggressive given everything else that was going on. I did get almost through the second skein. I have to decide how much bigger to go on this. I’m really not enjoying this yarn. But again, I don’t know what else I would use it for, so I’ll work the third skein into it. Onward I’ll trudge. Since it only took a day to use a skein, I could conceivably use the third skein today and get to the border if nothing else comes up.

9/22 love how this turned out. Because it is acrylic there isn’t much I could do for blocking. I had a lot of ends due to knots in the yarn, which was really disappointing, but I am super happy with the bright and cheerful colors. And, as before, the easy and intricate-looking pattern.
