these are only 50 g balls - which gives about 12 rows (6 fans per row). They were only $1.40 a ball so will be quite inexpensive to make - but will have to go back for more yarn i think as i only bought 8 balls - will see how it looks after 8 balls.
Done - 8 balls spot on. Blocked today. I think I should have made it narrower - too late now - I am happy with it regardless.
