I love the look of this blanket and after much thought I want to make a mini one for my friends baby due in July. It is her 6th child so the acrylic is perfect for going in the machine. She needs no ‘hand wash only’ gifts.

The colours are all random and I have added in some cream every 6 or 7 rows to lighten it up. I love the colours in this blanket - it is so cheerful - especially in winter!

I am now working on the border - a round if granny clusters in cream and then a round of sc also in white. A dc round each in two colours. A hdc round (in pink) and then a sc round in light blue and then the picot edging worked in the back loop as per the attic 24 instructions.
All done and ready to be wrapped and gifted!! After a final photo in daylight of course ;)

Photos taken - it just sings!! I love it and may make more as I have stacks and stacks of yarn left over.

Gifted today (baby due next week) and she loves it!! Yay!!
