2/17/11: CAST ON!

2/24/11: About half-way down the foot. The sole will be a little longer than the instep, as the slipped stitches tend to pull the work in vertically. I added a pattern repeat, which threw me off the pattern just a little….had to figure out where the ‘split’ was going to be to center the mosaic blocks. I really like the contrast on the colors.

2/26/11: Ripped back to the start of the heel - foot too big, heel too deep. I’m going to try a short row heel and decrease the inset and sole down to the original number of pattern repeats.

2/28/11: Sock #1 complete! Did a round shortrow heel, decreased foot to 65 stitches in a small gusset and finished with a wedge toe.

3/14/11: Happy Pi Day! Sock #2 is completed!! It’s very early in the morning and I’m going to sleep before I take a pic or two and post in the SKA thread.
