I didnt have many colors at hand so I had to use what I could. The orange and red yarn is from Big Twist and the navy blue and maroon/burgundy is Caron One Pound.

The pattern was easy to follow, though I did have trouble understanding just like, one part (the sleeves). Thankfully, I had reddit explain it for me, so it really wasnt that bad.

I thought fair isle was just knitting with different colors. But if you can tell, my first two rows (red) and some of my other rows  are puckered. I learned that it’s because my floats were to tight. I’m glad I caught on because once I flipped my work inside out, my tension was a bit more even, but I still had problems with tightness here and there.

I also had trouble with grafting the undersleeve but I think I’ll chalk that up to how I excited I was to be done with the sweater.

Overall, I’m really happy with how it came out and I feel brave enough to knit a bigger sweater now.
