YARN WINDER CONVERTER

Project info
Knitting
Winding a large ball on a small winder
SMALL BECOMES LARGE
Needles & yarn
Notes

Recycling! Save your empty toilet paper tubes. Cut a 1/4” notch on one edge of the toilet paper tube. Put the tube on your small yarn winder. Put the end of the yarn in the notch. Don’t thread the yarn through the yarn guide, you will want to be able to move the yarn up and down the tube. Because the tube is about 1 1/2” taller than the center of the small ball winder, you can wrap a much bigger ball on your small winder. When you’re done, put the outside end of the yarn in the notch, too.
