What a joy this pattern is! It’s one of those that just flows off the hook. So pleasurable to stitch, and such a sweet outcome. It has such lovely texture and movement, and looks so much more complicated than it is to execute.

I worked this pretty much exactly as written. The only mod I made was to start with 144 foundation dc rather than the chain 146. And the only other change I’d like to make next time would be perhaps to make it larger.

To make it larger:
The arrow pattern uses a multiple of 4 sts;
The scalloped border uses a multiple of 6 sts,
So would need to add sts in multiples of 12 in order to accommodate both.

Oh yes, and I carried the unused ends up the side in order to minimize the number of ends.

Update, 8/20/22:
So cousin Joe was here this weekend. I was asking him which of my stash of baby blankets he thought I should give to another family member who was having a baby. He saw this blanket and was completely taken with it. He’s a painter and said that the colors were inspirational. He said that he wanted to frame it and hang it on the wall as artwork! I figured that anyone who loves it that much should have it, so I gave it to him. It’s really nice to have the things that you do be appreciated by others.
