I kinda went photo crazy with this one, didn’t I? It was so much fun to watch it develop, almost like a flip movie.

What a lovely pattern. Very complex, but extremely well written. And the detailed photos were a lifesaver! I don’t know know if I would have stuck with it had it not been for that, because it’s so easy to get lost in those long paragraphs of text in a written pattern. I was using KnitCompanion, so was able to write on the photos, labeling the stitches, and then work from that, which made it a lot easier for me.

It was so pretty that I continued on, well after it had become clear that it would finish too large for a baby blanket. Actually, I should have realized that before I even started, but I loved the colors so much that I needed to use the exact yarn of a version that I saw on the pattern website. Thank you so much to Jenny Roff, whose sample I shamelessly copied!

All measurements are approximate, as it depends on how much it is spread out on the floor each time.

Hook I (5.5 mm) was used for round 36 only.
Hook H (5.0 mm) was used for the rest.

Color C: Topaz
Color D: Aqua
