This is really a nice pattern, and I’m very happy with the way it came out.

It took a couple of days to knit the body of the blanket on the Bond USM. Then I picked up stitches and knit the borders by hand. I used a size 10 circular needle for the garter stitch, then worked the bind-off from the WS using a size 11 straight needle.

My mods: I didn’t really convert the pattern for machine knitting, as finished size wasn’t crucial. My gauge using keyplate 3.5 with this yarn is approx. 14.5 sts/20 rows to 4”. Cast on 151 sts. Also, I worked a total of 16 border rows (15 knit rows plus the bind-off) for a slightly wider border.

The last photo shows how much yarn was left over…plenty for another project.
