purchased aran weight yarn because i want the cable to really be visible. the MT triple twist is so fluffy it will really show the work off.

book arrived today and i immediately went to the pattern. yes, it kills me that i can’t find my original book i purchased back in 2009, but i’d pay for the pattern digitally, if i could, so now that i’ve purchased the book again, the old one will now show up.

obviously charting immediately in Pattern Genius.

while i love seed stitch, i hate a knotted/beaded selvage, so adding 2 extra stitches. sl1wyif on WS; k on RS.

instead of the selvedge i planned, i found a better 3-stitch seed stitch with a selvedge built in. yay!
