Notes

oh my gosh! so cute!

this was my first dpn project. i probably should have started with a hat so i would have worked a larger project to a smaller project but i didn’t know :D. i was so excited my teacher didn’t want to discourage me :D

it was challenging enough for me as a beginner (3 mos). I did try it without my instructor (missed a class) and contacted Blue Sky Alpaca, who were great in answering my question.

in examining my finished cupcake, I do wish it were a tiny bit tighter knit. I can see some polyfill through the fabric and I actually wanted to stuff a more in there :)

if I obsessed over a tiny detail, I wish my bobbles looked better. I did them according to pattern, I think, and as instructed by my teacher, but I do wish they were a tiny bit bigger. I think overall, they look lovely on the cupcake and I trust Susan’s aesthetics in designs. :) I specifically chose Susan’s design because hers didn’t look sloppy, which I believe too large a bobble may contribute to.

i loved knitting it!
