This is a request from my adult son.

A simple Scarf for Australian Rules Football - Richmond Tigers.

The moss stitch (K1 P1) is so the scarf doesn’t curl in on itself.

The knit rows are to save my sanity

Long Tail CO = 41 stitches (an odd number of stitches)
Knit 12 rows of moss stitch for the starting and finishing bands.

3 row pattern:
Knit 1 row
Moss stitch 2 rows

This pattern makes the scarf look the same on both sides.

Change of plan:
The 3 row pattern above sort of created lines which looked fine in the black, but not in the marigold or grey. Damn!

I’m now doing 4 sts of moss stitch each side of the scarf, and 3K,3P,3K in the middle for 4 rows. Then alternating it for the next 4 rows. Simple squares. I hope this looks better.

Change colour on a right side knit row each time.

4. Black
5. Marigold
6. Silver (Middle of scarf)
7. Marigold
8. Black
9. Silver
10. Marigold
11. Black (includes band)

PS: I’m not sure why the silver is in there… but that was the request, so here goes….
