Yarn

• Not a huge fan. The ribbon shape ends up folding or not in a way that looks messy. I’d rather have done this project in a yarn with more loft and halo to evoke bird feathers and to be more friendly for a kids room. Oh well. Still cute.
• Ran out of 1 of 2 balls just a few repeats before the end, ugh.

Measurements & Gauge

• Frame width 2.5” x ~250”
• Gauge: 2.5” = 7 sts in st st on 9 mm needles; final project came out ~3-4” per 6-row repeat (not 12-row rep).

Pattern

• CO 7 sts
• Note: slip first st of every row in pattern
• Rows 1-5: st st
• Row 6: sl, k, popcorn, k4
• Note: For a tighter popcorn, on the row following each popcorn, pick up and p the second slipped st from the end of the popcorn together w the popcorn st.
• Rows 7-11: st st
• Row 12: sl, k4, popcorn, k2
• Rep rows 1-12 about 42x.

Construction

• Hot glued the inner and outer edges only.

• Grafted the ends together.
