the pattern says to knit with 3 strands of the yarn. we thought selecting a verigated yarn wouldnt be a good idea ….. so DD picked the 3 colours, thinking that we could twist them into a funky look.

got started, knitting 1 strand of each colour together …. looked ICKY !!! sent a pick to DD, with the suggestion that we try colour blocking instead …. frogged out the 1st attempt and re-started making the main block purple (her favourite colour) then continuing around from there. by the end of the night, finished 2 blocks of each colour, and pleased how it’s turning out (hope she feels the same)
