I started this after Christmas last year, knowing that it would be the perfect gift for my Uncle & Aunt …. well, it’s that time again, so I hope they like it

ok … so I modified the original pattern. was supposed to be knitted in 3 pannels and have fringe, but I did it all at one time and no fringe. also I started it, as the pattern suggests, using 2 strands of the wool… didnt like how it was turning out, so frogged it and started again with just one strand and slightly smaller needles. I’m happier with how it turned out. it was worth all the frogging and cursing working thru all the different cable patterns !!
