Nice scrap buster project. I used 4 different types of yarns in a variety of weights. I think if I were to ever make this again I would use a lighter weight yarn since the layered worsted weight seems a bit to bulky. Also I found the basic k1, p1 pattern to be monotonous and would strongly consider changing to a lace or cable for one or two of the strands at least. I did enjoy trying to figure out what pattern of colors to use. It is so easy to make this one, a one of a kind, totally personlized piece. I ended up going with the pattern in the second picture.
