Not quite sure how I misread the pattern so greatly or how I got it into my mind, but from the onset of knitting my first Belmondo I was of the mindset that I had to knit to triangles and sew them together. It wasn’t till I had knit both triangles, weaved in the ends and layed them down to sew them together that I looked at the square I got and went… “wait a minute, that’s not right!” LOL so I ended up with twin Belmondos! I was thinking since it’s Christmas time that I might give one as a gift, though this yarn is not as soft as I know most of my friends would like, so I don’t know if any of them would wear it. I may end up blocking one wider and adding frindge to it and leaving one the way it is and just sewing on a button since finished they didn’t end up wide enough to wrap comfortably around my neck without something to hold it in place like a button or blocking to the size the pattern calls for.
