Simple knit. Followed the easy pattern except did one extra row of knit, purl repeat (10 rounds instead of 9) after cast on. It turned out with a nice slouch and is very comfortable. If I was to ever make again I would alter the pattern to have a wider cable and less seed stitch because the decrease rows are very sudden endind the hat with only 4 rows after the cabled pattern it would be very easy to alter the width of the cables and keep the pattern.
