These are really quick, which makes them fun! I’m having trouble getting my husband to use the reusable bags I’ve already made, so he brings home an obscene amount of Kroger bags. My plan is to make a ton of these and put them all in his car. They’ll take up so much room he’ll have trouble forgetting in the future, I think!
I started the first on 4/28/13 and finished it on 4/30/2013. I started the second on 4/30/13 and finished it on 5/8/13. I started the third on 5/8/13 and finished it on 5/10/13. I started the fourth on 5/11/13 and finished it on 5/13/13.
I counted how many bags it took to make the third one of these…it was 36. I had thought it was more than that. The fourth bag also took 36 bags.
After the fourth bag, I only have about 20 Kroger bags left, and I think my husband is finally starting to remember to use them, so hopefully no more of these for a while!
I sold three of these for $2 each at the Making Strides fundraiser on 9/26/15.
