I used the US 1 needle throughout along with the same number of stitches in the ribbing as the body. I worked the heel flap over my usual 30 rows and that caused the gussets to be a bit less than usual, but the sock fits good.

This is such a fun pattern to knit. Very mindless stranded knitting.
