All in all this went really well. The only hangup I had was on the button band. Everything else was very straight forward and it knits up fairly quickly. I do believe the directions are being tweaked for the button band, as I was not the only one who was having some issues with it. I plan on making another one or two of these, next time in wool.

I knit this for our baby due March 2015, and I think it will be perfect. Knitting it on 7’s made it a nice dense fabric that is much more like a jacket than a sweater. It should help keep our littlest little quite warm in our Alaskan “spring”.
