I fell in love with this hat & the many possibilities! Used the tail instructions from the deadfishhat link on the pattern page.

I also shortened the dorsal & pectoral fins a bit since they looked too big & more like wings - I wanted a trout, not a flying fish.

I crocheted the eyes instead of using the felt.
