I love these mitts! They were very easy to make & look pretty while being functional. Fit perfect for my 7 1/2” hands. Gauge was 8 sts/in.

The only mods I made were to elongate the mitt body by doing the chart 1 1/2 times, ending with Row 17 before starting the 2x2 ribbing, and on the last row of the pattern (row 17), I made a cable 6B with the 1st & 3rd 6 st segment of the chart to help draw in the mitts at the finger end & also for esthetics. I didn’t like the long legs of the pattern on the wrist end, so the cables just before the start of the ribbing seemed to balance & continue the look of the pattern. See last pic - R mitt shows the finger edge & the L mitt shows the wrist edge.

Did 2 at-a-time magic loop on 40 “ cable. Used JSSBO as the bind-off.
