Notes

This is such a great pattern! Very easy with garter st, yet the intermittent leaves make it so interesting. I made an extra leaf at the very end of my bind-off. Since both of these yarns were really lace wt (not 4 ply) I made 6 garter rows, otherwise the leaves would be too close. I worked till I ran out of MC yarn making 26 leaves.

I started a KAL for this shawlette for my Thursday night & Sunday afternoon knitting groups. This is a great opportunity to teach them how to do short rows & pick up wraps without it being a scary technique. Because this pattern lends itself to so many different color & yarn combos, one can truly be very creative and also to making more than one of these! Everyone seems to be enjoying this pattern.
