Trying to get gauge. Somewhat achieved with 3mm needles. Since Sienna is only 2 pounds 10 at the moment and I am knitting the 3 month size, I think we’ll be ok.

I read others project notes, to see what challenges lay ahead. It seems pretty straightforward, but the cables require concentration. In looking at the photos, I decided to add a small ribbed border at the neckline because I don’t like it when it is too wide.

Ok, I have not used charts too often in my life, but, is it common to have to read them right to left on row 1, and then left to right on row 2? This seems mighty confusing to me.

Cable portion is done. I was reading ahead and the sleeve instructions are confusing, but if you actually follow them it works out, and is much easier then you think.

All that is left is the body.
