July 3: Want a fitted, long sleeved pullover with set in sleeves and a V neck.
July 10: Coming along. Now about 4” up from underarm shaping and decreases complete. Now starting another project1, Foldlines, which I will work concurrently with this one.
Aug 14: I unceremoniously abandoned this piece last month but back was almost finished. So finished back today.
Aug 15: Cast on for front and plan to seriously stay on this. (Sure seems small after DK Foldlines.)
Aug 31: Well up into the top of the front. Going faster now that the underarm castoffs are complete and I am decreasing at V neck every 4th row. (Also, I lost a week to 3 bushels of tomatoes.)
Sept 1: Front is complete
Sept 2: Designed a sleeve (fingers crossed) and started it. Changed rib to a lace rib.
Sept 3: so far, so good. Size seems ok. Just at elbow.
Sept 5: Had to reknit the cap. Was too small for armscye. No biggy.
Sept 6: First sleeve done and after a quick and sloppy basting, I think it will work. Hope so because I have started a second sleeve to match.
Sept 11: Second sleeve is knit and is set to block overnight. Will seam it all tomorrow and Friday. Fingers crossed it may be coming to Italy with me.
Sept 12: All blocked and seamed. Quite happy. Think I will press around shoulder seams over the tailor ham. It is ready to pack for tomorrow. Yay! (Better pics to be added soon.)
Final Measurements:
Hips - just above rib 44”
Waist - 39”
Bust 45”
Length - 23 1/2” (highest part of shoulder to bottom of rib)
Sleeves - 18 1/2” (they are a bit long. I think they grew when blocked)
