I seem to have stalled out a bit on this after I saw that I had added five beads to one of the leaves and I will have to pick back 2 rows to fix it :(… I only have one more repeat but my other projects are luring me awayyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

So here is what I did.
I used the version of the pattern with 144 stitches and beads. Instead of using size four needles I used size 6 needles for the first half and then on the third repeat dropped down to size 5, and mid way through the fourth repeat I used a size 2. However there is no visible decrease in gauge.

I used a stretchy cast on and cast off.

I still need to block it. Hopefully that I can make it taller and skinnier, and enhance the scalloped the edges created by the stretchy cast on and cast off.

Blocking today 10 May, 2014. This is the first time I have ever blocked anything I hope it works out.

Blocking did not really change the shape at all.
