Notes

I am making this hat again because the first on didn’t fit but I love the pattern!!!!

This time I know a bit more about knitting. Last time I was really unhappy with the tension and the jog where the round begins and ends. I fixed this by slipping the first stitch of the round every other time where needed. While you can still see this variation in the knitting it is not as obvious.

06-11-13 almost done but not sure if I should frog and redo all the decreases :(.

I modified the final decreases a bit at the end. I don’t remember exactly what I did… even though it was only a couple of hours ago…:) wool for brains… but it looks fine.

Finished this hat up today, yay!!!! I really like this kind of knitting, especially after you can start to see the pattern,it means way less counting because you know what has to come next…

I worn this hat all last winter and was pretty heartbroken when I couldn’t find at first this year. But then there it was in the top back corner.

I have attached a new pom pom for this winter. This is one of my favorite hats despite its large size.
