I started making a poncho but then decided to turn it into a shirt instead. Worked the pattern until part 7 as usual, then connected the sides leaving arm holes. I’ll continue with part 8 and onwards on the hem to make it longer.

Still need to decide what to do with the sleeves. Maybe a t-shirt or 3/4 sleeve with parts of the pattern that I can decrease nicely.

I sew the opening for head closed on the backside for about 10 cm, this helped shape the top and bring the sleeves up a bit.

Finished all the edges with two rounds of dark blue single crochets.

I decided against longer sleeves because this yarn was starting to feel heavy and I didn’t want pull on the neckline from the extra weight.
