What a fun and interesting stitch. I really liked knitting this hat. Yet the pattern isn’t any more than a recipe. To sell a pattern without any mentioning of needle sizes recommended is a bit unsatisfactory. I still can’t believe the designer didn’t get to an update…
Also: if you recommend a brim for 4 Inch but than start with a dipped stitch 5 rows down you loose about a centimeter of brim… Hence I did 14 repeats to get that lost centimeter back. The hat, with a rolled brim is about 17 cm long. No slouching even though I have a small head.
Still it’s a fun knit and great for variegated yarns.
And: it’s veeeery warm!
