I normally do not knit with such chunky yarns - but this was a request from a friend, who had bought a “skein” of this Jumbo weight Gotland yarn, and wanted a raglan garment.
She prefers very simple designs, so I knitted it free style top down, following a “golden rule” of 2/3 sts allocated for front and back, and 1/3 sts for sleeves.
Short rows added to elevate the back.
I used tighter tension on the top, knowing that this heavy garment will pull on the neck.

Very heavy wool for a garment, I can imagine people knitting blankets from such wool, probably would be heavy and warm.

Elbow length sleeves as this is as far as the “1 skein” was able to take us.
Cannot believe though this was enough for almost a full sweater, just from about 300 meters of wool!
