Notes

free-style knit for Sabin using two strands of Plotulopi.

I used elbow patches purchased from Miss Maude in Auckland, to protect the sleeves, as the sweater is for my friend working on her sheep farm.

The lovely sheep pattern is from a design linked above. I calculated the overall circumference of the sweater and divided it in sections, resulting in 5 sheep more generously spaced apart.

This way, Sabin can be surrounded by sheep even when she is not around sheep!

~~~
Plotulopi - 12-3 sts / 10 cm
21 sts x 3.5 = collar;
72 sts to cast on
Back and front after separating the sleeves:
Back 64 sts
Front 62 sts
After sleeve separation, and over the next 27 rows of body, decreased twice:
15th row - decreased 2 sts on both sides of the underarm (4 sts dec in total)
7 further rows down - dec 1 sts on back side of the underarm (2 sts dec in total)
This is to adjust the st count for patt (120 sts on needles)
20-06-2024
8 sts picked up for underarm in first round
20-06-2024
4 sts Dec on second round (two sts Dec on EA side from centre)
Then 10r sts without decreases;
Then start decs on the 11th row, and keep decs every sixth row (5 sts and then dec row - k2 tog, k1, sm, k1, ssk
23-06-2024
