To make this cowl, I cared raw Gotland fleece together with mulberry silk, spun it two-plied, and then dyed the yarn with Cochineal to get this lovely shade.

Knitted into a cowl that then travelled to Europe to my mother, to keep her neck warm accompanying a similarly coloured sweater I recently knit for her.
