I really like how it turned out. Hope Anaiah will be gentle with it! :)

Parasol - hopefully - I’ll probably have to add to the pattern to make it larger to fit my frame.

Well it fits and I love it but if I were to do it again I’d stop a few rows earlier. This I think would make it tighter and give the umbrella an even more rounded top. (Mine fits but is a wee bit flat).

Mods:
crochet cast on into a magic loop (to help it fit on a parasol)

Changed row 3 to: YO, (kpk into 1 st) around. because I don’t like the double YOs.

(There is an error in the written instructions for row 33 - Should read:(yo, k1-b) 3 times, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, (yo, k1-b) 3 times, yo, ssk, yo, sl 1-k2-tog-psso, yo, k2-tog)

Changed row 49 (last row of pattern) to: (yo, k2tog) twice, k4, (ssk,yo) twice, ssk, k1, k2tog - I just liked that better.

Added rows after the pattern:

1. k3, kfb, k4, kfb, k3, (sl1,k2tog, psso)
2. knit

Started Stor Lysedug pattern from row 66.
skipped rows -71 & 72 (knit rounds)

changed a few k2tog to ssk to match the dec.

Finished on row 91.

Bound off with a 5mm.
fingers crossed that it will fit nicely.
