Please note: I think this is a lovely sweater, hence my overall rating of the project. I do feel the instructions are unnecessarily convoluted. I knit this circularly but the flat pattern instructions are clearer.

Generally, I’m a freak about fit but I’ve decided to make this, pretty much, as is. I will alter the odd thing (as required) but I’m not intending to reinvent the wheel. I just don’t have the will at the moment… I’ll document the process on my blog…

OK, the “no alterations” idea hasn’t really worked….

In brief: I’ve made the circumference of the sz 34. I lengthened the ribbing a bit and the length below the waist. Then lengthened the bit above the waist by about an extra inch to allow for bust room (a quick fix). From there on in, I made everything the length of the size 32 (but I do feel that 7.5 inches for the armscye depth is still on the edge of too long for me).
