I started this one with the MKAL on September 2 and plans for the textured hat.

Restarted October 1 with the striped hat. I’ve found that the stripes help me count rounds.

I decided to make him smaller. I only increased to 30 stitches on the hat.

Increased to 32 on the row after the body pickup.

On row 9 of the solid body I did 8 increases evenly around, instead of at the 4 center points of the sections because I have fewer stitches per section and I felt it was easier at this gauge.

I used the larger needles for the beard and arms.

He is approximately 1.5 inches tall.
