Nose and hands - fleshy KP palette
Beard - handspun angora held double
Baldric - hat yarn and yellow
Beer - grey(I think it might be Periwinkle Sheep), white, brown
Sword - grey

Arms have pipe cleaner so I can pose them, and he can support the beer.

For the sword I made a slip knot, (k1, YO, k1 into the slip knot), knit a bunch of rows of 3 stitches of ribbing, used knitted CO to CO 9 stitches, bind them off, rib across, CO 2, BO 2, k2tog, (2 st on needle), knit some rounds of 2 stitch I-cord pick up a stitch from the end of the 9 stitch picot, and knit it together with the stitch next to it, knit another round of the i-cord, then cut the yarn and pass through the 2 stitches. Pull tight, and bury the ends.

The shawl is Way Leads on to Way.
