Whoever first said this pattern is potato chip knitting was right. Once you figure things out, you don’t really need to look at the pattern much.

Had a direction reading fail. Uses sock yarn so, must use US4s. Nope, pattern say US3s. It knit up fast, maybe I should start over.
Started over with the correct needle size.
Already using virgin yarn again!

Started over again.
Figured out how best to do the shards with my slightly longer color runs.
On the RS, do shards as written, but on the last k8 knit to the end of the pink.
On the WS, w&t when you hit pink, then knit as for RS. When you would w&t at the end of the pink switch from p to k and continue with the row.
When a shard starts at the edge of a WS row, knit a 3 row shard instead of a 4 row normal one. 10, 6, end of color.

When I started over I was almost done with wedge 7. I am now on wedge 6, so now that I like how it’s looking better, it’s moving faster.
Other notes
There are I think 3 spots were I did a random w&t, knit x, w&t in the green/yellow to disrupt the pooling or move a shard.
There are also a couple of spots where I made the executive decision to knit the wrap of a w&t.
