Ok, so I saw this technique here on ravelry and I wanted to see if I could do it. Turns out: I can!

I did make a couple of mistakes and it’s not as straight as it should be, but for a first attempt…

I don’t have the right hook for this, so maybe that is a problem too.

I used the 8-bit pattern from the Granny square mario bedspread (did alter the colours a bit, partially, because I liked it better, partially, because I didn’t have all the colours ;-) )

I just wanted to share it with you, because it’s Mario. And Mario is always good :).
