I was kind of asked and I kind of offered to do another test for this designer. This time I decided to use thin cotton, and a 2,5 mm hook, because summer is coming, and I don’t want to be working on a warm, heavy big blanket in this time of year. It might turn out to be a nice beach towel. Halloween-themed laughing

Before I saw the pattern I lready decided on purple and orange yarn, as I like that combination all year round really. (Purple/green and yellow/black were the other options that came to mind. )

Lots of time went into waiting for new yarn. One cone of each was definitely not enough; I needed about 10 % more purple (including a border) and 3 % more orange. (15 and 10 when I include a small border).
That is almost 1900 resp. 1750 meters. (2000/1900).

Finished size (without border) 90x130 cm ; toddler size/laphghan.
Hours worked according to knit companion : 81 hours and 23 minutes.
