I ran into this pattern in a Facebook group, and immediately fell in love, so bought it right away. Unfortunately there was very little choice of colors, so i bought the yellow, rust breien and brown, and the olive green as an extra. After swatching a bit, I decided to leave out the yellow.
The pattern is much easier then I anticipated, very well written, and after the Tumbling Blocks join-as-you-go became second nature. Being kind of perfectionist it bothers me a little that you will always get a different look wether joining A to B or B to A, but I am probably the only one to notice.
I have no idea how large this thing will be ; I did 6 circles so far, and an still on my first 3 skeins, but I bought a LOT. But In will definitely stop at king size, probably sooner.
This being a variation on a granny blanket I knew there would be lots of loose ends to weave in, and since I am very serious about a goof finish, I do then on the go, not too end up with 14.000 of them in the end. Nevertheless it is 50% crochet, 50% weaving in ends ;-)

Finished the first flower base (7 modules), and I almost finished the first skein of green. That means I have yarn for at least 35, probably 36 or 37 modules. I guess that might be large enough for me.

This morning I finished the second circle. As I only used about 2 skeins of each colour and have another three left, I can do a third round. Started by making 18 hexagons assembly-line style.

I almost finished this project yesterday, but was 3/4 of a border short, so it became my first project for 2025.
I made it one row larger then the basic pattern, and used a little more then 3 skeins of terra, a little more then 4 skeins of brown and a little less then 4 skeins of of green.
Last photo is all 1128 ends of yarn I need to weave in.
