My co worker asked/suggested I could make his son a hat with ears, since he knows I am working through my stash and looking for small projects. His son is 18 months old.

I have a two year old granddaughter who is about the same size, so I used her head size as reference, but she was not available for fitting, so I had to wing it and guess alot

There are quite a few patterns for Pokémon hat’s available, but the first two I tried were either very badly written or had so many mistakes/need so many adaptations that I ended up using none. But it is all very basic, and the difficult part is the embroidery. The closer I got to the end, the more sure I got it will be a little too small (too short basically) but if that is the case, I’ll gladly make another one. It was a fun, quick project.
