My first attempt at interlock crochet in the round. This time, it went surprisingly easy, and I might actually prefer this over the classic rows, because you only work at the front. Definitely something to look deeper into.

As I am still working with leftovers only, the outer border is a different shade because I ran out of brown.

Today i made two more of the same pattern. Both in DK, to see what I would need for a blanket.
The pink one is done with DK and a 3,5 mm hook. It looks great, but has the Drake of a cutting board. The blue/orange was made with a 5mm hook, has better draait, but I found it very bulky/lacks detail.

For a blanket, I think I would use sock yarn and a 3mm hook, to get the !ist detail. I might even habe enough stashed for a colorful one.
