Nine repeats so far. Only 28 to go! This shawlette starts with the lace and fills in the middle with short rows after that. Lace pattern isn’t too hard if you can keep track of which row you are on. I’ve had to rip it out several times and I think it’s from stopping in the middle instead of finishing a repeat. Color coding lines with a highlighter and some stitch markers to divide into columns helped. Made divisions for the first 5 stitches, the smocked “cable” where the only purl stitches fall, and the lace and garter stitch edge.

The photo of a sort of circle, with the lace and the middle portion of the stockinet stitched area filled in, is the amount that one skein of my yarn made.

Finished but not happy. The edge rolls so much! Will see if I can figure out how to change it so it lies flat…ripped out some rows, did three rows of knit two together yarn overs knit return row and then garter stitch for six rows. Solved the rolling issue.
