Thanks to Angela Bailes for this free pattern. This pattern was well written and easy to understand. I used cotton yarn so the hat would be stiffer. Hat requires quite a bit of shaping after completed to look like a cowboy hat. I also tacked the a crease in the top after I finished the hat. No other modifications were made.
