Followed pattern for the hat in this project: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/soleila/orange-newborn-be... , but used an I hook and worsted weight yarn. Altered as follows: Rounds 5-8 alternate dc in back loop only, dc in front loop only repeat around. (This will make the hat look like the one in the photo.) Round 9 as written. Added a 10th and 11th round of sc.

I used buttons for eyes.
