I made a basic hdc beanie in blue white and red. The last 4 rounds are one round white, two rounds red, and last round is red in sc.

Emblem is in yellow hdc. I started with 2 hdc, next row 4 hdc, next row 6 hdc, etc adding one hdc at the beginning and end of each row up to 8 rows. I did not increase on the last two rows. I then slip stitched around the emblem in red and attached to beanie.

I then crocheted the “S” in red using Moogly’s pattern linked above and sewed it on to the emblem. I used an E hook to get the size I wanted. I needed the S to be shorter on the bottom, so I stopped at row 22 then crocheted rows 25 and 26 and fastened off.
