Making a vertically striped blanket with Bernat Blanket yarn from my stash.

12mm hook for initial chain, 10mm hook for the rest of the blanket.

Simple Linen stitch. Beginning chain 153.

I am planning to do 84 rows in stripes of 7 rows per color. A couple of colors that I have more of will have 2 sections of the same color.

Approx. 150g of blanket yarn per 7 rows.

Finished with a simple sc border one round.

Turned out a little longer and narrower than I anticipated. If I make another one, I would take about 10 chains off the beginning chain and maybe an extra set of seven rows. (This would take about 4” off length and add about 4” to width)
